We now offer vibration hourmeters! To ensure that you get the best cleaning possible from your flusher, it is necessary to change the filters regularly (we recommend after 20 hours of operation). The hourmeter allows you to monitor your flusher usage.

It works by sensing the vibration of the pump and motor while the machine is running. The display shows hours and tenths of hours. Each tenth of an hour is 6 minutes.

In November of 2005, G-Tec held a seminar at Leeward Community College for the entire automotive department under the administration of Jake Darakjian and Milton Ayakawa. Leeward College is located on the beautiful island of Oahu in Hawaii. They were kind enough to include not only the students and faculty but local shop owners, their employees, and city and state municipal workers. The seminar was called The Down and Dirty, Nitty Gritty Facts about Cooler Line Flushing. The live demonstration portion of the seminar used the school’s new Turbo Tank Heated cooler Line Flusher (TTCF-7AR) with reverse and air injection. In addition to the live demonstration, there was a classroom presentation by Steve Glassinger, Sr. that included a Q&A session and information on updated flushing techniques. G-TEC would like to thank all the folks at Leeward College, especially Jake and Milton, for hosting a great seminar. A few months later, in April of 2006, G-TEC returned to Oahu (yeah, it’s a rough life) to deliver their most advanced transmission dyno to Matt’s Transmission Repair in Honolulu. Matt’s received G-TEC’s computerized dyno with built-in features such as a data acquisition system with color printouts, motorized tailstock, electric hoist, and transmission shifter all controlled by a removable notebook computer. This new computerized dyno (TT2130 DVD-C) comes with the new True Find© laser alignment tool which eliminates the chance of misalignment, the greatest cause of vibration in transmission dynos. Nate, the owner of Matt’s Transmission Repair, graciously held an open house for his customers to see his new equipment. He invited friends, colleagues, and customers as well as transmission-related business owners and other important dignitaries from the island. Nate asked G-TEC to demonstrate both his new dyno and his new TTCF-7AR cooler line flusher before everyone helped themselves to the great luau he prepared. Everyone from G-TEC agreed that Nate’s barbeque could rival the Kansas City barbeque from back home. Nate really showed G-TEC and all the guests the aloha spirit.
